A short list of some of my favorite Amazon finds. *This post contains affiliate links*

I thought it would be helpful to share some of my favorite Amazon finds with you. If you’re anything like me, you look for the tried and true recommendations. Recommendations from people you know or people who’s opinion you trust over buying something, trying it out, only to find it didn’t meet your expectations. Then the choice of do you want to go through the hassle of returning it or just cut your losses and make a mental note of that failed purchase with a vow to do more research next time.
Well I hope to become that source of recommendation expertise you can rely on. For now, let’s start off with a few items I’m currently happy to have.
- Call me an old lady or just organized, but this has been a game changer for keeping me on track with taking my supplements. If you read my blog post on my journey to healing SIBO, you’ll understand why this has come in clutch.
This 3x/day pill box is esthetically pleasing to the eye sitting on the counter and functional. If I’m going to be out of the house for the day and need to take my supplements while I’m out, I can just grab the day’s supplements and be on my way. Push them down to lock in place and transport all of them or leave them loose in the base for grab-and-go, easy counter access.

2. I recently went through my storage closets and wanted everything to be nicely organized and easy to access. I had bins and but there were still clutter, especially in my electronics bin. All sorts of charging cords, old phones etc. so I needed a better solution.
These mesh pouches worked great! There were many different sizes to choose from to maximize space and organization. I also used a couple of these to organize the center console of my car. I use them for a set of spare kid’s clothes, miscellaneous items, paperwork, etc. The zippers have held up great so far. Amazon say they are waterproof, but I would not feel comfortable dropping the bag in the water and expect it to completely stay dry so I would say they are water resistant. If water or juice is spilled on them, they would be easily wiped dry.

3. I am always very cautious when it comes to buying clothing online. I’m picky about the texture and quality of the items not to mention how they actually fit. Over Black Friday I decided to take a leap of faith.
These $32 leggings were on sale then but are still very reasonable price and I am not one bit upset about the quality, texture or fit of these leggings. They come in many different colors (currently 29 available colors at the time of writing this). They are high wasted. Buttery soft texture. Squat proof. And did I mention very affordable! I know own a couple different colors because they are that great!

4. Since we are on the topic of clothes, here’s another one I was quite pleased with.
These Racerback Tanks are comfortable and functional. There are for those longer wasted ladies, or those just wanting the other half of their shirt still (why crop top everything? Anyone else?!). Built-in, not sewn-in, bra padding; the pads do like to relocate after washing and drying which is a pain. But overall these are great go-to summer tanks.

5. Tired of cleaning up water from the bathtub or deflecting your child’s need to play on the side of the bathtub. This will solve a majority of those water issues!
This Tub Topper is a game changer with my youngest child. I did not have this for my other kids so I have definitely stepped up my game on this one! No more frustration of having to put a towel down next to the bathtub to get ahead of the waterfalls that were likely to take place! Secures by suction cups, easy to remove and clean, and expands your child’s play surface in the bathtub without creating more mess.

6. I don’t know what kind of low-toxin magic-eraser magic these things are but they WORK! From marker on the walls to hard water soap scum in the shower, these little sponges can get it done!
These Melamine Sponges are the cleaner version of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. I’m not going to say they are non-toxic but I do feel they are a much better option. I don’t use them on eating surfaces but I do use them to clean bathrooms, baseboards, windows, baseboards, etc. And they are cheap! Currently, $9.99 for a pack of 20.

And the last items for this blog post are three books that I feel cover some taboo topics, or at least they used to be. Topics that I feel should be address in the home first rather than from friends or some school programs. These books are laid out to be covered together with questions after each section to encourage open conversation and questions about these topics. They serve a great resource for anyone unsure how to navigate these, sometimes challenging, topics.

8. Relationships: 11 Lessons to Give Kids a Greater Understanding of Biblical Sexuality

9. Changes: 7 Biblical Lessons to Make Sense of Puberty

Well, there you have it. Nine items that I have found very useful and worth the money. I hope to continue to share more in the future as I test them products and feel they are worthy of recommending to others.
